A VERY BUSY WEEKEND

As already reported, Flora Duffy races ITU World Series Chicago tomorrow, Tyler Butterfield races IM France in Nice on Sunday and on the local scene Sunday sees the AON National Sprint Triathlon Champs. But THERE’S MORE !!

Pauline Green jumps in at the deep end on Sunday, after basically starting triathlon at the Beginner’s camp in January of this year, as she and her son and daughter take on Ironman Austria. Quite a challenge after just a few months in the sport. Pauline and her children Will and Jess have been coached for the event by B78 coach Jasper Blake and are looking to raise GBP5000 for the Claire House Children’s Hospice.

Meanwhile, a continent away, Neil Lupsic (who was an impressive 5th in the Catlin National Olympic Distance Triathlon), Seamus Fearon nd Brian Drea will join former Bermuda residents Barry Murphy and Daniel DeGiorgio in Atlantic City for the Atlantic City Challenge Triathlon, which is basically over the Ironman distance.

And in Chicago, Steve Petty and Patty Petty will get the chance to watch Flora Duffy race as Steve will compete in the age group Olympic distance event and Patty continues her leading role with the ITU as the assistant Technical Director for the event.
