Sebastian Kienle of Germany was the mens overall winner after establishing a lead going into T2 and then producing a strong run to win comfortably by over 4 minutes. Womens’ defending champion Mirinda Carfrae, like last year, had one of the fastest runs of the day to take overall womens’ honours. Only four male professionals beat her run time of 2hrs 50 mins 26 secs.
