After his 7th place finish in Kelowna BC on 23rd August in the Canadian Junior Western Championships, Tyler Smith travelled down to Victoria BC with dad Aaron where he has been staying with Dave Morrrison and Sue Edney and training with his coach Kelly Guest and his group of junior elite BC triathletes. He leaves on Thursday for Edmonton, Alberta where he will be racing in another of the Canadian Junior Elite Series races this Saturday 5th September. His race gets underway at 9.30 Edmonton time (12.30 Bermuda time). Tyler then returns to Bermuda until he flies to Chicago on 14th September for the 16-19 Junior Elite World Championships.

Meanwhile Erica Hawley, who was 9th in Kelowna, also returned to Victoria and trained with Kelly Guest before returning to school in the UK. Erica will also be racing this weekend at Mallory Park in Leicestershire UK in the Junior Elite Series race for 16-19 year olds (part of the British Triathlon Federation’s Under 20 Festival). Her race gets underway on Sunday 5th September at 9.30AM Bermuda time ( 1.30 PM UK time).
Alex Pilgrim will also be racing at the same under 20 festival as he races on the same Sunday in the 13-14 year old TR3 UK inter regional triathlon championships 2015 in which he will be representing the South West of England having qualified for that region in a qualifying race as the fastest qualifier. His race gets underway at 7.05 AM Bermuda time ( 11.05AM UK time).
