After her excellent 4th place finish in the Stockholm, Sweden leg of the Triathlon World Series, Flora Duffy races this weekend in Edmonton, Canada in the final leg of the Series before the World Championships in Chicago.

Flora has had 3 top 5 finishes this year and will no doubt employ her usual aggressive style  to try and get a lead group away on the bike. She is currently ranked 9th in the world. With 6 athletes ranked above Flora opting to sit out this race, Flora will have a good chance of getting a podium and moving up the rankings. Great Britain will have a strong trio of Non Stanford, Vicky Holland and Helen Jenkins in the field and Rachel Kramer of the Netherlands is another athlete on form and currently ranked 5th.

Flora’s race gets underway at 1.36PM (OR 10.36AM Bermuda time). Go to http://www.triathlon.org to follow the race or sign up for live TV coverage.

  1. Hi Dave – I don’t know if e-mails reach you this way. Stuart and I both took part in triathlon this weekend. Happy to send the details if you think anyone will be the least bit interested.
