Following on from his excellent 12th place finish in Ottawa last weekend in the Canadian 13-15 Youth Series Event, Nick Pilgrim is racing this weekend in a unique event in Magog, Quebec, Canada in series of three races for U13 triathletes. Nick began the first day with an Aquathlon (200 m swim, 1 km run) finishing 4th out of 42 starters in 6 mins 59 secs with the winner crossing the line in 6 mins 44 secs. This event is followed by a Duathlon later today over 100 m run-5 km bike-100 m run (with a staggered start against the clock every 30 seconds) . The starting order for the duathlon has been determined by the aquathlon position. On Sunday, Nick will compete in a triathlon over a 375 meter swim, 10km bike and 2.5km run. The winners will have accumulated the most points on the three events.
