ERICA HAWLEY 7TH IN EDMONTON CANADIAN JUNIOR ELITE SERIES RACE.

Erica Hawley has just finished 7th today in the Edmonton leg of the Canadian Junior Elite Triathlon Series.

Erica, who is eligible to race in the 16-19 junior category next year, finished in 1hr 6mins 11secs with splits of 10 mins 8secs (750m swim), 34 mins 22 secs (20km bike) and 19 mins 54secs (5km run).

The race was won by Desirae Ridenour of BC in 1 hr 1mins 57 secs

Tyler Smith goes next this afternoon in the junior elite mens event with Flora Duffy racing tomorrow in the ITU World Series event.

Meanwhile Tyler Butterfield got underway about a minute ago (5.15PM Bermuda time) in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Mooloolaba, Australia and watch the race on video at this link.
