sign-upClearwater Beach,St.Davids will be the venue this Sunday 30th October for the AON National Sprint Triathlons for adults and juniors and the BTA as always in encouraging all of its members to support this great long standing race on our calendar. The junior championships get underway at 8 AM with a race briefing followed by the race at 8.15. There are 7/8 and 9/10 age group prizes with racing over 100m swim in shallow water, 5km bike and 1km run. 11/12 year olds will race over 200m swim, 10km bike and 2km run whilst 13/15 year olds distances are 375m, 10km, 2.5km. In these age groups there are racing bike and mountain bike categories with separate prizes.

An adult Tri – A – Triathlon, aimed mainly at beginners, will start at the same time over 150m swim in shallow water, 5km bike and 1km run. ENCOURAGE YOUR WORK COLLEAGUES TO ENTER !!

The senior national championships over 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run gets underway with a briefing at 9.30AM with the race starting at 9.45AM. There are both individual overall and age group categories from 15 to 60+ as well as Open, Female, Company and Reinsurance Company team categories with individual competitors also able to participate as a team as the swimmer. There is a reduced entry fee where a team has an individual competitor as its swimmer.
