All bikes must be racked by 2.10 pm, and all participants must attend the race briefing at 2.15 pm in transition.

Things to note:

• The water temperature may be cooler; in accordance with BTA Rules, wetsuits will be permitted if the water temperature is less than 22 Celcius (71.6 F); if in doubt bring your wetsuit down just in case. A decision as to wetsuit eligibility will be made on race day.

SUPER SPRINT TRIATHLON 26 NOVEMBER AND CLEARWATER CLEAN UP

SUPER SPRINT
Saturday 26 November, 2016 – 8.30 am

We are holding a super sprint at 8.30 am on Saturday 26 November at Clearwater – similar to the Thursday evening super sprint series events we hold in the summer. The main distance will be 200m swim, 3 laps (about 8K) on the bike and 2K run. Everyone welcome and we can do different distances. Drafting will be encouraged to get some practice in before the Bank of Bermuda Foundation Draft Legal race on 4 December.

CLEAN UP SAME DAY
Following the race at 9.30 am we will be holding a clean up of the BTA World HQ (i.e. the Shed) and also clearing the run course for the Bank of Bermuda Foundation Triathlon. The good news is that the trees downed in the Hurricane have been cut down and cleared away, but there is still overgrown grass and some gravel which needs clearing. We will need:

• A couple of shovels
• A couple of heavy duty weed whackers
• A couple of blowers

If anyone has any of the above equipment but cannot make it down on the day, please let Ian Pilgrim know at ipilgrim@mayflower.bm. Please also let him know if you intend coming down to race or help with the clean up or both.

We will try to have some coffee and carbs available.
