This from Alec Shepherd :
As part of the BTA’s Neill/Blake Triathlon Camp this year, now nearing its close after a fantastic week, Apex Physio are putting on a special seminar tomorrow from 1-2.15pm at The Loft, above Flanagans on Front St. Injury Prevention and Rehab: Do you move as well as you think you do? will explain Functional Strength Screening and how it is used to prevent injuries and stop them recurring. We will also hear about VO2 max testing and how this can help triathletes get the most from their training. Apex physiotherapist Tim Patterson will lead the session and there will be an opportunity for the group to try out functional movement testing for themselves. A sandwich lunch will be served.
There are a few places left for the seminar, so the BTA would like to open it up to their members to attend on a first come first served basis. If you would like to attend, please let Alec Shepherd know (alecshep@btopenworld.com) as soon as possible. There is no charge.
The topics discussed will be highly relevant to all triathletes so this comes highly recommended.
