THANKS TO IAN PILGRIM FOR THE RESULTS, INFORMATION AND PHOTOS

As already reported Bermuda’s Triathlon / Aquathlon Team at the 2018 Carifta Games in Trinidad and Tobago took home four medals on the opening day of these games with Jasmin Hasselkuss and Nick Pilgrim taking gold, Bella Howes giving herself a great birthday present by taking bronze and Ashley Irby taking silver.

However the other team members also performed admirably. Full results of day 1 below :

11-12 Girls Triathlon (23 competitors) (200m swim, 5K bike, 1.25K run)

11-12 Boys Triathlon (22 Competitors) (200m swim, 5K bike, 1.25K run)

13-15 Girls Triathlon (21 Competitors) (355m swim, 10K bike, 2.5K run)

13-15 Boys Triathlon (32 Competitors) (355m swim, 10K bike, 2.5K run)

1st– Nick Pilgrim
4th – Tommy Marshall

24th – Enshe-Nico Davis

16-19 Girls Aquathlon (9 competitors) (1000m swim, 5km run)

2nd – Ashley Irby

7th  – Jessie Marshall

READY TO RACE – CARIFTA GAMES 2018

The Bermuda Team’s performance today places them second in the points table with 29 points, with Guadaloupe leading the points table with 47. Next is Trinidad and Tobago with 15 points (the T&T team is 42 strong).
