Tyler Butterfield and Karen Smith will start as firm favorites for this weekend’s Tokio Millennium Triathlon.
Thanks to Tokio’s generosity this event offers a well organized race with lots of goodies and a large field is expected.
Although most of the interest focuses on the leading overall contenders it is great that triathlon has age groups allowing participants to judge their performances against their age group peers. This race is no exception.
The Argo Re. Thursday night super sprint races, mainly targeted at beginner or newer triathletes but popular with more experienced triathletes as well, starts on Thursday 15th May, this coming week. The venue is always at Clearwater Beach.
For details and to get on the EMail list go the BTA website via the link on this page. The series runs on most Thursdays throughout the summer and is a lot of fun.
